Join Coach Earl once again as the NECC is happy to announce the K-4^th grade and up winter basketball league will be back again this year!

This league runs for 10 weeks from early January 2012 through the second week of March 2012.  This is a skill building league designed to enhance self-esteem with emphasis on fair play and equal playing time.  Practice will occur once a week for one hour. Games are on Saturday and Sunday, 12:00-7pm for one hour. Practice and game times will be determined after regsitration occurs.

Registration is now closed and we are anticipating the start of the league in early January!!!

Participating Families

Youth Winter Basketball registration occurs online early so do not miss your chance to sign up and participate in this ever-popular program!

Some helpful tips for our online registration:

1.  Create an online account PRIOR to the morning of registration

         The parent (and payer) must have an account before adding a child.  You will receive an email upon saving the account that will include a link to activate the account. You will NOT be able to login and register without activating your account. Once the parent has an active, online account, the child can be added as a family member and participant of the activity you are registering for.  Creating the online account prior to registration will allow for an easy registration!

2.  Do NOT start the registration process before the time of registration.

          Youth Winter Basketball League Registration opens up online at 8:00 am for Members November 3rd and 7:00 am at November 6th.  If you start the process prior to this time, you will NOT be allowed to finish the registration, even if it is after the open registration time.  You must wait to "Add to Cart" until the registration opens up.

3.  Have all of your information ready for entry

          It is helpful to have the information you might need to complete the registration.  For the Youth Winter Basketball League in particular, you may want to have:  Your child's t-shirt size, a Teammate Request Name and phone number, Emergency Contact for your child, Volunteer availability (coach, team parent, etc) and contact email, and your credit card or checking account information.

4.  If you are having problems with the online account or registration, Call the Front Desk at the NECC anytime during regular business hours! 503-284-3377 

          We are here to help walk you through the process.  However, please keep in mind we will not be taking phone registrations!

Join Coach Earl in September for a new league focused on youth in the 4th Grade and Up!

The league focuses on the beginning stages of basketball: skill building, confidence and a joy for the game of basketball. It teaches kids fundamentals, sportsmanship and an understanding of the game. The league will make it fun for children to play on a team at a competitive level.
